The challenge
Dima Lavrenti pride themselves in creating uniquely stunning kitchens that are an outcome of a unique design process. They felt their website blended in with the rest of their market peers, despite their one of a kind designs and process. They expressed a lot of time being wasted on consultation calls with people who didn’t have the budget for their work. They needed something that would set them apart, and attract the right aligned clients to their business.
Website Strategy
In order to create a website that not only spoke directly to the right clients (and in turn, filtered out leads who weren’t a great fit), but also reflected their unique process, I turned to my favourite tools-research and strategy.
During the research phase, I discovered trends that were apparent in the industry as well as a few bottlenecks that were confusing website visitors about Dima Lavrenti’s process. In understanding what the team wanted to achieve from their new website in relation to their business goals, and identifying what stood in their way of attracting the right clients, I was able to form a plan and set a foundation that set Dima Lavrenti up for success.

Website design
After completing the research and strategy phase in collaboration with Cascade, I began adding design elements to bring the vision of the website to life.
I used a balance between black and neutral beige for contrast and to maintain balance between approachability and luxury.
Squarespace development
With the capabilities to create unique and beautiful layouts and an easy to use interface, I built the Dima Lavrenti website on Squarespace.
Once the website was developed and signed off, I took the team through Squarespace to ensure they were 100% confident in making updates to any images or text.
Despite having a lot of custom code to create a unique layout, the Dima Lavrenti team never has to get involved in code or the backend to make any changes to images, text or even to add an entire portfolio project. Squarespace’s intuitive platform made it that much more easier for the team to pick up and learn.
